Review: Malome Vector by Nobody

Business

Chris Theko

This week we are gauging the music video of Malome Vector’s Nobody.

The song runs for 4 minutes and 41 seconds.

The hip hop joint was built on 80 beats per minute (BPM) and 8/8-time signature.

Following his amazing releases Dumelang and Follow, Malome Vector dropped the hit single on 30 January 2021.

We all have a love story to tell which includes friends and family who were against it, but you know how they say love always wins.  In this video Malome Vector narrates a story of a humble young man from the mountainous village who falls in love with a girl above his league. But he endures talks and headaches while at it yet believes NOBODY will stand between him and his true love.

The song tells of a love story which includes friends and family who were against the relationship, however, the couple still finds their way to each other’s arms against all odds.

What I enjoyed the most about the tune and as depicted in the video is the origins of the song and the artist. The video was shot in the mountains of Lesotho, while this is the remake of the song Malome Vector released while he was still at home before being signed by South African record label Ambitious Entertainment.

With just a few tweaks here and there to make the song more relevant, this is still the same hit that was produced by Mj Elphy over two years ago.

On 19 June 2020, Malome Vector was officially introduced by Ambitiouz Entertainment with his debut single titled ‘Dumelang’, a smashing single that still has everyone greeting till today.

Dumelang is doing great on all digital platforms, including radio and tv. The single was quickly followed by a music video which is currently on 2 million views.

On the 23rd of October 2020, the rapper release his second single titled ‘Follow’. The single received such a great reception that it occupied the number one spot on iTune’s top Hip Hop songs and took the second spot on all genres.

Back to the video, credit must be given to the production team behind the camera for top quality production.

‘Nobody’ video is one quality pieces of work. Currently it is sitting on 392 000 views after 6 days on YouTube.

Nobody rates at 8 out of 10
