Lesotho Mounted Police Services (LMPS) FC is making waves in the 2023/24 Vodacom Premier League (VPL), remaining unbeaten after their first 15 matches.

The team, guided by Head Coach Tiisetso Molete and known as Simunye, has earned a commendable fourth place in the league standings with 29 points from seven wins and eight draws.

Thinyane Ramangoane, LMPS’s Communications and Marketing Manager, expressed confidence in the team’s continued success.

“Our team is focused and driven. We face each match with a single goal: victory, regardless of the strength of our opponents,” he stated.

Ramangoane praised the team’s robust defence, anchored by former Likuena captains Basia Makepe and Nkau Lerotholi, along with goalkeeper Sekhoane Moerane.

“Our defense is a fortress. With Makepe, Lerotholi, and Moerane, we are set on overcoming any team that comes our way,” he remarked.

Reflecting on their recent 1-0 victory over Bantu FC, Ramangoane noted, “We have consistently outperformed Bantu FC in past encounters. This victory is a message to other top teams — we are a force to be reckoned with.”

Looking ahead to their upcoming match against LDF FC, Ramangoane remained optimistic reflecting on their previous victory over the same team.
