Lisuoa and Lefahla’s murder case in court

The murder case involving renowned Famo musician Khopolo Kholuoe, popularly known as Lisuoa, and radio presenter Pulane ‘Lefahla’ Macheli, known as Lefahla, was brought before Magistrate Makopano Rantšo this week.

Prosecutor Sekoati Hlophe is representing the state, while Advocate Lesaoana is defending the accused.

The accused, Bokang Moisa (40) and Ntsoaki Mahao (27) are facing several charges, including two counts of murder, attempted murder, and malicious damage to property.

According to the charge sheet, the incident occurred on July 20, 2024, in Masowe 1, Maseru District.

The accused allegedly shot and killed Kholuoe by inflicting gunshot wounds to his stomach, buttocks, and left ear. They are also charged with the murder of Macheli, who reportedly sustained fatal gunshot wounds to her spinal cord, shoulder, and left ear.

In addition to these charges, the accused face attempted murder charges for allegedly shooting Chabasemaketse Matsoso in the right arm and ear during the same incident. They are also accused of damaging Kholuoe’s Toyota Ranger, registration A6966BCR, by firing multiple shots at the vehicle.

Prosecutor Hlophe indicated that further charges could arise as investigations progress. The accused remain in custody, awaiting their upcoming bail hearing.
