NOTICE OF WINDING UP AND CLOSURE OF OPERATIONS
MILLENNIUM CHALLENGE ACCOUNT – LESOTHO II (MCA-LESOTHO II)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Millennium Challenge Account – Lesotho II Authority (MCA-Lesotho II), established for the implementation of the Millennium Challenge Compact II, has commenced the process of winding up its operations following the termination of the Compact.
In accordance with applicable laws, Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) funder requirements, and approved closure procedures, MCA-Lesotho II hereby advises all its stakeholders as follows:
- All operations of MCA-Lesotho II shall cease on April 18,2026, being the official Compact Closure Date.
- All activities, programmes, and operations are being brought to an orderly close in line with the Policy on Compact Closure.
- All contracts, obligations, and liabilities are in the process of being settled, assigned or terminated in accordance with applicable agreements and governing law.
- All assets of MCA-Lesotho II are being disposed of or transferred in accordance with approved asset disposition procedures.
NOTICE TO CREDITORS AND CLAIMANTS:
Any person, vendors, service providers, entity, or stakeholder having outstanding invoices or claims against MCA-Lesotho II is hereby required to submit full particulars of such claims, together with supporting documentation (such as invoices, contracts, proof of service delivery), within ten (10) days from the date of publication of this notice. Kindly note that any claims not submitted within this period may not be considered for payment, as MCA-Lesotho II is in the process of closing its operations.
