Mosola TV has a new variety TV program titled CELEBLAZA which premiered on Lesotho Television (LTV) last Friday.

CELEBLAZA is a Talk-show in which you will be seeing a number of interviews of our local artists in general.

The Executive Producer of the show is actor/producer of Mosola Comedy, Tiisetso David Mosola who hails from Mohale’s Hoek.

In an exclusive interview with Newsday Arts and Entertainment, Mosola said his inspiration came from realizing that a lot of entertainers do not have much of such platforms “…in particular those who are doing good in their roles in the entertainment industry and making a positive impact”.

According to Mosola, the show will feature up-and-coming entertainers as well as those already making their mark on the scene.

The show is commissioned under the Lesotho National Broadcasting Services (LNBS) and is shot at the national broadcaster’s studios.

“It is shot at the LTV studios and airs every Fridays at 6pm with the repeat on Saturdays at 9am and Sundays at 3:30pm. We shall be interviewing actors, musicians, poets, comedians, models, presenters, DJs, filmmakers and others in the industry,” he said.

The show’s host is popular actress and radio personality Laylo (Sebolelo Rathebe) who will be co-hosting other episodes with Ntate Leader (Tebatso Leboea), photographer and radio personality.

Mosola TV is a platform for short comedy videos whose goal is for entertaining, educating and motivating viewers, a lot like the famous online Nigerian short comedy clips such as Emmanuella and McAngel.

The production of Mosola Tv has been mainly online, publishing regularly on Facebook and Twitter as well as on YouTube and has grown enormously since the first episode was published on February 2, 2018.

CELEBLAZA’s first episode featured musician and model Jennie Kay which and aired on Friday 4 February.
