Standard Lesotho Bank’s (SLB) Unayo has added a new ‘Add-On Features’ to help enhance customer experience while using the fast-growing monetary product, the bank said this week.
Unayo has added a range of new features determined to make life even easier and the introduction of the additional transacting features is a result of continuously understanding evolving customer needs.
The Platform Business Manager, Bright Pita explained that, the new additional buy airtime and electricity features mean a customer can now skip the long queues and transact wherever they are from their phone, using their Unayo account.
He indicated that having the Unayo app, means unlocking a world of possibilities as the app is designed to balance ease of use with the wide variety of features that offer access to a spectrum of convenient and affordable services.
He stated that, the product was received very greatly by Basotho across all sectors both currently banked with SLB and those who are not. He added that they receive hundreds of applications almost daily from customers and would-be customers registering to utilise the app.
“We simplified sign-up the process and clients can now board onto the platform in just a few minutes without having to go through numerous on-boarding steps. We have features like airtime and electricity which Basotho can enjoy at the comfort of their homes.
“A lot of work is being done in the background to bring some of the best features on the platform to help both individuals and businesses to share as well as create value through the Unayo platform. We are continuously putting together inputs from our customers to create solutions that respond to their everyday needs,†Pita said.
The mandate of Unayo was to create a whole digital marketplace for individual and business customers hence the new features are a testimony to this commitment. The digital platform also offers customers a smooth access to digital solutions that bring convenience in their daily lives with merchants now available across the whole country, hence customers can instantly send money to anyone through Unayo or by performing cash in transactions. They can also cash-out from any of the Standard Lesotho Bank ATMs, or at any of the Unayo merchants in their area. Unayo introduces new features that connect people, businesses, and communities be it keeping in touch with their loved ones.
