LNIG Hollard unveils enhanced motor insurance for women

LNIG Hollard has partnered with Tracker Lesotho to develop an improved vehicle insurance product for women drivers.

All For Her Motor Insurance, as the new policy is called, is meant to enhance women’s safety behind the wheel, amid rising crimes against women.

Speaking at the product launch last week, the head of underwriting at LNIG Hollard, Kefuoe Ramokhele, said the new LNIG Hollard product is a gift of safety to women.

“We asked ourselves how can we keep our clients safe in these uncertain times with statistics around vehicle theft, hijackings, and violent crime against women being on the rise,” he said.

“Then we came up with this exciting insurance cover to keep women safe on the road. With all the offerings of a traditional motor insurance plan, this product goes a step further in including key safety features to keep female motorists safe on the road and elsewhere.”

She said clients have to access the Tracker Connect Application to enjoy the features like medical assistance, share journey, car guard, and regular reminders such as license and disk renewal reminders and many more services.

In his remarks, the Managing Director of LNIG Hollard, Mpho Vumbukani said the safety of women in Lesotho affects everyone and LNIG Hollard has partnered with industry experts to bring an all-rounded approach to tackle these challenges.

Vumbukani said they are also going to provide their women clients with defensive driving lessons.

“To further ensure that female motorists feel safe on the roads, LNIG Hollard in partnership with relevant service providers, will offer defensive driving and self-defense lessons.”

“We invite all Basotho to engage with us through our social media platforms on how as a nation we can all contribute to keeping women safe and making Lesotho a safer place to live in for everyone,” Vumbukani said.
