The winner of the 2022 best gospel hip hop artist at the Lesotho Gospel Music Awards, T-Born is scheduled to release his third album in March this year.

The album, which is tentatively titled “The Passion”, will explore religious themes and is intended to appeal to both the young and old.

The Morija-born gospel hip hop artiste, whose real name is Tumelo Seliane recently told Newsday that the album is meant to restore lost hope for those who are struggling to achieve their life goals.

“The reason why I wrote this album is to give young and old people hope despite believing that they have lost it all,” T-Born said.

“Maybe you lost your parents, or a job, or you were not admitted at school, they should keep on moving because there is hope in Jesus, there is his grace to change their lives forever,” said Seliane.

His upcoming offering follows two albums namely Son Rise 1 and Son Rise 2, with the latter earning him the coveted best gospel hip-hop artist at the Lesotho Gospel Music Awards in 2022.

Like many famous musicians, Seliane got his inspiration for singing at a young age in church as a member of the Sunday School Choir. He has also been influenced by United States (USA) rapper, singer, and film producer, Lecrae.

“I was inspired to sing when I was at Sunday school in church. I was singing in the choir and later on, I ventured into gospel hip-hop,” he said.
