Puma Energy Lesotho kicked off its new ‘Go Africa’ campaign with a heartfelt gesture, supporting vulnerable children at Sepheo School in Motimposo, Maseru.
The school, known for reuniting families and offering second chances to disadvantaged youth, served as the launch site for the company’s first-ever market positioning campaign in Lesotho.
The choice of Sepheo School as the venue underscored the campaign’s community-centered ethos and set a tone of compassion and empowerment.
Ahead of the campaign’s official rollout on May 1, Puma Energy has begun engaging with local orphanages, offering winter support to children in need.
“This is the work that defines our purpose,” said Salma Zacharia, General Manager of Puma Energy Lesotho, during the launch.
“As we energise them, they inspire hope. As we support them, they build futures,” she added.
Running until July 31, the Go Africa campaign is a bold initiative that celebrates Africa’s energy, resilience, and potential. It also represents Puma’s broader commitment to community upliftment, unity, and sustainable development.
Zacharia emphasised that the campaign reflects the vibrancy and strength of African communities and is designed to energise and inspire them. Already active in countries such as Botswana, Ghana, Malawi, Congo, South Africa, and Tanzania, the campaign now seeks to make a lasting impact in Lesotho.
Puma is therefore inviting Basotho to take part in the campaign through daily, weekly, and monthly competitions. Customers who purchase and use Puma Energy products at participating service stations will be eligible for prizes throughout the campaign period.
The initiative also seeks to highlight local heroes, small business owners, community leaders, and organisations like Sepheo, that are making a tangible difference in people’s lives.
Described as a full 360° campaign, Go Africa will be visible across forecourts, billboards, and digital platforms throughout the country. But beyond the visibility, the campaign aims to build long-term partnerships, empowering entrepreneurs, creating jobs, and investing in community, driven initiatives.
“We are taking to the streets, to every corner of Lesotho, to tell our story. To live our purpose. To Go Africa, and to take Lesotho with us,” Zacharia concluded.
