Queen ‘Masenate to participate in Desert Bush Walk 2024

The Botswana-based CSI-Concepts Foundation, alongside the Desert Bush Walk Local Organizing Committee (LOC), announced yesterday that Her Majesty Queen ‘Masenate Mohato Seeiso will join as a Guest Walker at the Desert Bush Walk – Winter 2024.

The event is scheduled for July 27th, 2024, in Jwaneng, Botswana.

The two organisations said that the participation of Queen ‘Masenate marks a momentous occasion for the Desert Bush Walk.

The Queen will be joined by notable dignitaries, including Botswana’s Vice President, Slumber Tsogwane, as well as high-ranking officials and representatives from both the private and public sectors of Botswana and Lesotho.

“Hosting Her Majesty, Queen ‘Masenate Mohato Seeiso, is a significant honour for the event,” CSI-Concepts Foundation stated in a statement.

“Her participation highlights her commitment to charitable work in both Lesotho and now in Botswana. Her visit also strengthens the historic bonds of friendship between Botswana and Lesotho, which are rooted in shared history and values,” it added.

It further mentioned that this visit not only underscores the Queen’s dedication to charitable causes but also serves to reinforce the enduring friendship between Botswana and Lesotho.

The CSI-Concepts Foundation expressed gratitude to all who facilitated the Queen’s visit.

“We assure the hiking community and the nation that we value this opportunity.
