SothoKids Modeling Agency hosted a successful fashion show on Saturday night at Thetsane Office Park to promote local designers by showcasing their work.

Dubbed the Unscripted Fashion Experience, the glamour field event was a huge success according to the organizers.  It was graced by a number of big names in the entertainment industry as well as politicians.

On behalf of the agency, Molise Makhasane said hosting an event of that magnitude is not easy hence they needed extra support. They also had the support of the Lesotho Fashion Week as one of the household names in the fashion show field.

Makhasane said they would not have made the event the success it was without the help of Postbank, Clicks and Bantu Football Club amongst others.

We achieved all this through the help of some big companies such Postbank and Clicks as well the management of Bantu FC, they really helped promote our event hence become a success, Makhasane said.

He said the annual event is intended to provide the designers with a platform. He stated that there are a lot of designers whose work is not known to the public hence they saw it fitting to create such a platform.

Every designer deserves a chance for their work to be seen and we believe in their talents, he stated.

One of the showcasing fashion designers Nako Daniel Manyatsa also known by his lines name Tailored by Daniel, said he felt motivated after having an opportunity to showcase his designs at the event.

his was a highly motivating event, we don’t have a lot of such opportunities in the country and hopefully this goes on and grows further, said Manyatsa.

The event was filled with glitz and glamour from the spectators, the guests of honor, the models and the entertainers.  Notable personalities were Lilaphalapha, Moshoeshoe Mosh Makhaola, Diva Motelle, Charlene McPherson, Mavele and the KTA Kings.
