Telecommunications giant company Vodacom Lesotho (VCL) is running a campaign that seeks to promote Local clothing brands.

The campaign kick-started on 11 September 2020 will run until 27 November is open to all clothing brands.

From the entries, 10 finalists will be selected based on the following criterion; brand longevity-the brand should have been active by January 2020 or before; brand originality or uniqueness and that the brand must have an online presence.

According to a statement released by the network giant, there will be ten winners who will be acknowledged as winners.

“The finalists will be subjected to public voting on Vcl social media platforms (Facebook and Twitter) through various polls and will be eligible for prizes,” part of the statement said.

The statement further states that eliminations will take place over a series of weeks.

Prizes shall include cash and 20GB business internet solutions for 24 months which shall be awarded after each stage of the eliminations process.

However, the eliminated brands will not go without compensation as they will still get some compensatory prizes. Winners are expected to utilise 20% of the total cash prize to produce merchandise which shall be used by VCL to promote the brands through competitions and activation campaigns.  The top three brands shall have their clothing brands included in any photoshoot or video shoot for advertising of VCL products and services.
