Speaking at the event, FoL National Director Lihle Setho said he was proud of the ladies and what they had managed to accomplish leading to the actual coronation.
“This year’s event was not just an event but a fulfillment of a purpose. We were able to attract sponsors, and were able to get something for the participants,†said Setho, thus extending a vote of thanks to the sponsors.
The extravagant event was sponsored by amongst others Clicks Lesotho, Tripharm, MCT Entertainment, Avani Hotels, Green Lake Guest House and Dona@Balos.
“The journey was incredible but challenging not just for the organisers but the ladies as well who have come such a long way in the competition yet ably still maintaining a level of sisterhood. But above all I am grateful to the sponsors who made it easy.
“It was about what is in it for the contestants, an experience of a life time. Each and every one of them has grown individually and has been able to establish some life building skills as well as being empowered,†Setho said.
