Lesotho is set to welcome seasoned netball players as it hosts the prestigious Women’s International Over-40 Netball Tournament this weekend.

The highly anticipated two-day event will take place at the Maseru Club and the National Teacher Training College (NTTC), starting today and concluding on Saturday.

The tournament aims to promote active aging and encourage lifelong participation in sports. Lesotho, as the host nation, will be represented by four teams, competing against teams from neighboring Botswana and South Africa.

Botswana will send two teams, while South Africa will have a strong presence with multiple teams representing all nine provinces. With a total of 36 teams participating, the event promises to be a thrilling display of skill, experience, and sportsmanship.
