Despite the chilly autumn weather and unexpected rain, spirits were high on Sunday evening at the Maseru Club as South African R&B star Lloyiso took to the stage for the Letz Touch Your Soul Easter Edition.

The event, organised by popular local events curator Thizozo, delivered a heartwarming and unforgettable musical experience for hundreds of soul music lovers.
Lloyiso, known for his powerful vocals and emotive performances, captivated the audience from the first note. Hailing from the Eastern Cape, the rising star has quickly become one of South Africa’s most beloved R&B artists, and on Sunday, he proved exactly why. Backed by his live band, he performed a flawless set that had the audience singing along, cheering, and waving their hands in the air, completely unbothered by the cold.
“Even the rain couldn’t stop the magic. This is exactly what we came here for, and we could not afford to miss it, come rain or sunshine. We love Lloyiso, we love soul and R&B, and we love Thizozo,” said one fan, wrapped in a blanket but still dancing in the open space near the stage.
Adding to the soulful atmosphere was a diverse line-up of artists from both Lesotho and South Africa. Sharing the spotlight with Lloyiso were DJ Gugu, a renowned Soul and R&B selector from South Africa, and gospel favourite Minister Spokes, who moved the crowd with his inspirational melodies. Lesotho music powerhouses Morena Sway and Mookho Moqhali also gave stunning performances, showcasing the depth of musical talent Lesotho has to offer.
The event also featured some of Lesotho’s top DJs, including EL Partel, 924, Lobby, Katz, and Smooth, who kept the energy flowing throughout the evening. The entire venue sparkled with elegance under the theme “White with a Touch of Gold”, creating an intimate and stylish setting for this soul-filled celebration.
Speaking after the event, Thizozo said the event was well executed and believes it has seen a big improvement from when it was started as a concept.
“According to me, we have improved and grown so much from the past editions in all aspects, from entrance into the hospitality industry, honestly, there has been a lot of growth. But then again, it was evident even to a lame man could see the stage setup, the sound, the production overall, and that makes me very happy that the event was well executed,” he said.
As the final notes rang out across the venue, it was clear that Letz Touch Your Soul had lived up to its promise, a night of connection, celebration, and music that truly touched the heart.
