EXTERNAL RECRUITMENT
The Authority seeks applications from qualified, competent and highly motivated individuals to fill the following position of Assistant Accountant within the Authority. The position is based in Mohales’Hoek. It requires good spoken and written Sesotho and English. A brief description of the position is provided below.
1. Assistant Accountant(1)
| Key Result Areas: Timely, efficient and accurate completion of assigned tasks, including receipting, data entry and some bookkeeping tasks Effective communication with other Finance staff Adherence to accounting procedures and instructions Qualifications/Knowledge: Technician Accountant or Degree in accounting, or B-Com or related qualification Working knowledge of accounting packages |
| Skills: Ability to follow procedures and written and verbal instructions Able to use of Microsoft Word and Excel and, preferably, accounting software including SAGE 300 Able to prioritise tasks Experience: At least one (1) year experience of similar accounting work. |
