The organisers of Corporate Challenge, the largest team-building event in Lesotho, have promised a bigger and better event this year, scheduled for October 13 at Maseru Mall.

The annual event, which seeks to promote a healthy lifestyle, fitness, and fostering friendly competition, is organised by Black Mix Lesotho.

“Since its inception in 2013, it has experienced remarkable growth, with the number of participants soaring from 300 to almost 800,” said Black Mix ahead of the anticipated event.

“This year, we have an array of mind-boggling obstacles and adrenaline-pumping activities in store for you. From mental puzzles that will challenge your strategic acumen to physical challenges that will push your limits, our meticulously crafted games will have participants on the edge of their seats, eagerly vying for the championship title.”

The 2023 edition is also set to feature approximately 19 obstacles catering to various levels of fitness, ranging from easy to difficult.

Covering a distance of approximately 2.97 kilometres, participants have been advised to come prepared with their oldest, most comfortable sneakers, “as mud will remain a core element of the event.”

Despite featuring a number of competitive sporting activities, the event is about fostering team camaraderie, promoting teamwork, and, above all, having fun.

A maximum of 700 participants will be allowed this year, which means those are interested to take part must register as early as possible to avoid missing out.

Limiting the number of participants will allow the organisers to prioritise quality over quantity, ensuring that Comrade Marathon 2023 surpasses all expectations.

The entry fee is M3200 per team, with each team comprising five members. Team entries have already opened from June 9 this year, and tickets can be conveniently purchased on Black Mix Lesotho’s website.

“By participating in Corporate Marathon 2023, your organization will have an unparalleled platform to showcase its team spirit, culture, and commitment to employee well-being.

“We cordially invite your organization and employees to join us for this exceptional event that promises to make a positive impact and contribute to its resounding success,” Black Mix said.
