Clerk: Transport Admin
Location: Premier Lesotho Bakery
Reporting to: Transport Manager
Purpose of the job: To complete all administration, capture all transport related data for input to KPI reports, assist on site In the absence of the Transport Manager and the day to day transport activities.
Responsibilities:
• Drive Reports
• Fleet utilization
• Tyre stock control
• Maintains driver database
• Monitoring Vehicle fuel consumption
• Ordering and generate order numbers from system
• Ensure that Traffic Fines are redirected on Driver’s name
• Updating reports CPK
• Report vehicle accidents timeously
• Ensure monthly kilometres remain within contractual limits
• Maintains cleaning register and ensures vehicle cleaning in terms of outsourced contract
• Inspect vehicles and monitor daily R&M
• Extract C-Track information from system
Competencies?
• Ability to function in a team
• Good communication skills (Verbal and Written)
• Ability to work under pressure
• Be self-motivated
• Attention to detail, Numerical ability
• Proficiency in MS Office Excel and Word Essential
• Possess a strong sense of urgency.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Matric Certificate
- Diesel qualification desirable
- Code 10 licence and valid PRDP
- A minimum of 3-5 years’ diesel mechanic experience, in a similar role within an FMCG environment
Other Requirements:
• Required to work a 6-day week
• Required to work overtime and unusual working hours as and when required by Management. (This including weekends and public holidays)
