EcoCash users have an exciting opportunity ahead with the launch of the new EcoCash Tobetsa promotional campaign, offering a chance to win three brand new Nissan NP-200 vehicles, cash prizes, and smartphones totaling over M2 million in value.
The campaign, spearheaded by Sasai Econet Financial Services—a subsidiary of Econet Telecom Lesotho (ETL)—is set to kick off today in Botha Bothe and will run until the end of August.
The EcoCash Tobetsa campaign aims to celebrate and promote the use of EcoCash, Lesotho’s leading mobile money solution, among ETL subscribers. In doing so, it also underscores ETL’s dedication to positively transforming the livelihoods of its users.
“The EcoCash Tobetsa campaign aims to provide customers with a seamless, secure, and convenient mobile money experience, facilitating financial inclusion and enhancing economic participation across Lesotho,” ETL’s public relations office said ahead of the campaign launch.
It added: “The campaign will offer a range of promotional activities, educational programs, and user incentives to encourage the use of EcoCash for various financial transactions including transfers, bill payments, and merchant payments.”
‘Matikoe Letsie, the general manager of Sasai Econet Financial Services, emphasised EcoCash Tobetsa campaign’s significance in promoting financial inclusion.
“This campaign is a pivotal step in our mission to empower our valued customers across Lesotho with accessible and reliable financial services. By leveraging on the widespread reach of Econet Telecom Lesotho, we are confident that EcoCash will transform the way our customers manage their finances, making transactions easier, faster, and more secure,” Letsie said.
She further noted: “We are extremely excited by the campaign prizes that are bound to turn around the lives of our valued customers for the better. By participating, customers stand to walk away with prizes ranging from M1000.00 to a whooping M30,000.00 weekly as well as smartphones. Equally thrilling are three brand new Nissan NP-200 cars that are up for grabs.”
Customers eager to participate in the competition can easily enter by dialing *100# or *199# or using the EcoCash App. To increase their chances of winning, customers are encouraged to actively transact on their EcoCash platforms, whether it’s purchasing exclusive and affordable Tobetsa bundles, paying bills, or paying merchants.
By purchasing these exclusive bundles or making transactions, customers will not only unlock additional benefits but also accumulate points. These points will automatically qualify them for entry into a weekly random draw where they stand a chance to win cash prizes and one of the three Nissan NP-200 grand prizes.
“With EcoCash, customers can perform a variety of financial transactions, including sending and receiving money, paying bills, and purchasing airtime, all from the convenience of their mobile phones,” Letsie concluded.
