SasaiEconet Financial Services (SEFS), a subsidiary of Econet Telecom Lesotho (ETL), has awarded a brand-new Nissan NP200 vehicle to ‘Malineo Motšephe from Morija, Maseru.

She is the second grand prize winner in the ongoing EcoCash campaign, aptly named ‘Tobetsa.’ The handover marks another milestone in the campaign, which celebrates the use of EcoCash, Lesotho’s leading mobile money solution.

Expressing her gratitude at the ceremony, ‘Malineo Mots’ephe could not hide her joy at being announced as the second grand prize winner.

“These are the benefits one gets from simply associating with Lesotho’s best data network, ETL, and its sister company, SEFS,” she said.

“I am truly humbled to drive away with a prize of this magnitude that will undoubtedly change my life for the better. No one would have thought that by effortlessly accumulating EcoCash Tobetsa points through transacting with EcoCash—paying my bills, sending money, and buying Tobetsa entry points—I would bring so much joy to my family.”

Speaking on behalf of SEFS General Manager Paulinah Moreira, a representative expressed excitement over handing over the brand-new vehicle to one of Lesotho’s senior citizens.

“This innovative campaign, branded EcoCash Tobetsa, not only seeks to celebrate each and every customer’s loyalty but also underscores our commitment to convenience,” Moreira stated. “It aims to positively transform the livelihoods of all our esteemed customers across Lesotho.”

She urged customers to continue participating in the EcoCash Tobetsa campaign, highlighting that the two Nissan NP200 vehicle winners and others who have won amazing prizes are proof of the campaign’s impact in empowering valued customers across the country.

Moreira also noted that, by leveraging the widespread reach of ETL, EcoCash continues to revolutionize the way customers manage their finances, making transactions easier, faster, and more secure.
