Network, Ushering in a New

Econet Telecom Lesotho’s journey towards delivering Lesotho’s Best Data Network experience
marked a significant milestone today with the launch of its next generation 5G network which
delivers blazing-fast download and upload speeds, virtually instantaneous response times,
real-time interactions, immersive experiences as well as a robust and resilient network i
nfrastructure designed to deliver consistent performance even in high-demand environments.
Econet is set to revolutionize the digital landscape in the mountainous kingdom and redefine the
way Basotho experience connectivity with the deployment of 5G in Lesotho. The rollout has
begun with sites in the Maseru CBD, allowing Econet customers in the area to access 5G.
Speaking of this important milestone, Mr. Dennis Plaatjies – Econet Telecom Lesotho’s Chief
Executive Officer (CEO) expressed his excitement, stating; “We are incredibly proud to be live with
