REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
The Lesotho National Development Corporation LNDC is seeking proposals from private sector
development entities to deliver solutions that drive economic development, sustainability, and
community well-being. The earmarked sites are located close to the main traffic circle Plot
no.12284-285 located within Maseru CBD between Kingsway and Moshoeshoe Roads
Interested and eligible bidders may obtain the tender document by paying a non-refundable
fee of Two thousand Maloti (M2,000.00) in the Finance Office at LNDC Development House,
Block A level 6.
A mandatory site visit shall be held on the 5th of June 2025 at 10h00am. Meeting place MCC
Car park Ha-Mafafa.
Suitability of the bidders will be assessed through and /or not limited to:
· Demonstrate prior property development experience of minimum two (2) projects of not less
than M30m each. Bidders must attach copies of completion certificates or similar evidence
with contact details of clients. (bidders who do not have the requisite experience will be
disqualified)
· The key experts must include but not be limited to Professional Architect, Engineers, Project
Manager, and Building Contractor with not less than ten years relevant experience.
· Innovative and creative concepts which include green technologies.
· Evidence of Financial capacity.
· Ability to complete the project within six (6) months .
Tenders must be deposited in the tender box situated at 1st floor of LNDC Development House
Block A, Reception area.
The deadline for submission of tenders is on or before Tuesday 24th of June 2025 at 10:00am.
Submissions received after the deadline will not be considered. Bids will be opened publicly
immediately thereafter.
All bids must be accompanied by valid traders’ license, tax clearance and proof of authorized
signatory.
No Legal person shall be awarded same insurance, works, and consultancy contracts involving
the Corporation for more than two consecutive periods of six (6) years.
The LNDC reserves the right to cancel the tender, reject any or all tenders without assigning
any reason thereof. The corporation is not bound to accept the lowest or any bid. Margin of
Preference will apply per the LNDC Procurement Policy.
