Events management company Royalty Media Group will host a one-of-its-kind event for adults dubbed the Maseru Fun Fai at the Maseru Club on March 5, 2022.

The event which will fully adhere to Covid-19 restrictions and regulations, will be a platform for adults to unwind and have fun in an uncommon way where they will have a chance to bring out the child in them.

In an interview with Newsday Arts, Royal Media Group co-founder and rapper Lerato ‘L-Tore’ Leteka, stated that, this is the first of many events coming from Royalty Media Group as they have lined up the events coming up soon.

Next week’s do will see revelers indulge in activities usually common among children such as giant jumping castles, water slides, paint balling, play station as well as xbox arcade, drinking games, tug-of-war, sack races, eating competitions, electric bull karaoke, entertainment and others.

Leteka said that the idea was his wife’s brainchild, adding that it has been marinating for almost two years since before the Covid-19 pandemic.

He said they have noticed that for a lot of businesses as well as the general public, networking and socializing have been difficult due to the stress of Covid-19. He said they thought of a way to bring up an event that is in children’s kind of entertainment but aimed at cheering and re-establishing themselves by socializing and networking through advanced and modified children’s games.

He stated that they believe the event will create ample opportunities for people to re-calibrate themselves with new memories.

He said that there will be prices to be won on different levels of the different activities, adding that as much as the activities are not popular and the people are not familiar with, the games are entertaining and exciting enough for people to enjoy.

Maseru Fun Fair will be sponsored by Red Events which has been involved with the children’s events, TunaSafari, Newsday Newspaper, Jam Sessions Sounds and Sky Alpha HD.

Royalty Media Group is an initiative which was founded by Leteka alongside his wife Nthati Sekese in 2010. However, back then it was focused on audio production, artists’ management with a few artists and recently it has grown into different branches in media as well as in the art, entertainment industry and the event management.
