Minister Spokes set for spectacular one-man gospel show

Rising gospel sensation, Minister Spokes, is set to captivate his devoted fan base with an unforgettable one-man show at the prestigious ‘Manthabiseng Convention Centre in March 2025.

Born Poloko Mohlapiso, in the scenic town of Semonkong, just outside Maseru, Minister Spokes launched his solo music career in 2018, and since then his rise within the gospel music scene has been nothing short of meteoric.

Known for his deep faith and passion for spreading the gospel through song, Minister Spokes has performed alongside some of the biggest names in the gospel industry in both Lesotho and South Africa.

Having graced major events like the Lesotho Gospel Explosion, Gospel Alive, and the 200 Years Basotho Mega Music Festival, Minister Spokes’ career trajectory is a testament to his growing influence.

His upcoming show is set to be a celebration of his musical journey and unwavering faith, offering gospel lovers an evening of powerful and uplifting music.

The event promises a memorable experience with a stellar lineup of guest performers from both Lesotho and South Africa—many of whom have collaborated with Minister Spokes over the years.

Since embarking on his solo career, Minister Spokes has shared the stage with notable gospel artists including Ntokozo Mbambo, Neyi Zimu, Lebo Sekgobela, and Dr. Tumi. He was recently inducted into the prestigious Joyous Celebration gospel ensemble, a significant milestone in his career.

Addressing a press briefing this week, Minister spokes expressed his excitement about the show, saying; “This is a dream come true for me. I am grateful for the opportunity to share my music and faith with the people who have been following and supporting my journey.”

“I am excited to worship alongside some of the most talented gospel artists. Since when I began this journey with Yadah Praise Family to launching my solo career in 2018, I had always dreamed of one day being able to deliver such a show.”

Minister Spokes’ albums, I Am Grateful and Lifela Tsa Chache, have resonated deeply with audiences across Southern Africa, establishing him as one of the leading figures in Lesotho’s gospel music scene.

His distinctive voice and heartfelt lyrics continue to inspire listeners, and the upcoming concert is expected to be a testament to his talent and dedication.
