INVITATION TO TENDER (ITT)

TENDER NO.: MOFDPPMU/ITT/ICTEQUI/2024-2

THE SUPPLY, DELIVERY AND INSTALLATION OF INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY

  1. Ministry of Finance and Development Planning Project Management Unit (MOFDP-PMU) has funds under the GC7 and C19 grant and intends to apply part of the funds for payments under the contract for “The supply, delivery and installation of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Equipment.”
  • The tender will be processed on National Competitive Tender (NCT) procedure.
  • Ministry of Finance and Development Planning Project Management Unit (MOFDPPMU) now invites sealed Tenders from eligible and qualified Tenderers for “The supply, delivery and installation of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Equipment.”
  • The items, quantities and the expected delivery period is as shown in the table below:

  • It is mandatory for Tenderers to submit the following valid documents: (a) Trader’s License; (b) Tax Clearance Certificates, (c) VAT Registration Certificate (d) Certificate of Bona Fide Tendering, (d) Bid Security declaration, (e) Shareholders certificate and copies of the shareholders passports. These documents [especially (a) and (b)] shall either be originals or copies certified at source (e.g. Ministry of Trade and Industry and Revenue Services Lesotho). Non- compliance with this requirement may invalidate a Tender.
  • Qualification requirements for award include amongst others: (a) business experience of not less than three years in similar jobs, (b) successful completion of similar contracts of not less than M500,000.00 in the past three years, and (c) Credit line of LSL 500,000.00 from a financial institution (strictly from the bank). (d) evidence of acceptable after-sale support or service.
  • Tenders shall be valid for a period of Hundred and Twenty (120) Days after Tender opening.
  1. Tenders clearly marked “The Supply, Delivery and Installation of Information and Communication Technology Equipment” must be delivered and deposited in the tender box located at the Main Reception area at Fourth 4th Floor MGC Office Park, Corner Pope John Paul II and Mpilo Boulevard on or before 1000 hours local time on 12th December 2024. Late Tenders will be rejected. Tenders will be opened in the presence of the Tenderers and/ortheir representatives who choose to attend in person at Ministry of Finance and Development Planning Project Management Unit (MOFDPPMU) Boardroom on the same date 12th December 2024 at 1015 hrs.
  1. The Purchaser reserves the right to accept or reject any Tender, and to annul the Tender process and reject all Tenders at any time prior to contract award, without thereby incurring any liability to Tenderers. The Purchaser is under no obligation to accept the lowest Tender.
