Standard Lesotho Bank (SLB) has introduced a new transactional campaign that runs from August 1 to December 31.

The campaign carries a grand prize of M300 000 and a Nissan Magnite. There are also other interesting monthly cash prizes including trolley dashes to be won.

Under the transactional campaign, customers are encouraged to use digital banking services, and by so doing, they stand a chance to win M300,000 plus a Nissan Magnite.

Rethabile Motsoahae, the Head of Personal and Private Banking at SLB, urged clients to take advantage of digital platforms.

“It is cheaper, more convenient, and enjoyable. We are enhancing our digital services to provide efficient banking without needing to visit the bank or ATM,” he said.

The promotion is open to users of blue, silver, and gold SLB debit cards, excluding SLB employees and their relatives. Eligible transactions include at least one swipe or tap purchase at any card machine, at least one instant money transfer, and at least one prepaid airtime or electricity purchase.

Each transaction must be a minimum of M20. To enter the draw, participants must complete at least three qualifying transactions per month.

The car draw is scheduled for December, based on transaction history from the campaign’s start. Monthly winners will receive cash prizes and participate in trolley dashes, with the trolley dash winners announced monthly.

Winners will be notified by phone or email and announced on SLB’s social media platforms and in newspapers.

Meanwhile, the bank also announced the winners of their past lending campaign, which ran from March to May this year.

The campaign targeted clients to apply for personal, vehicle, asset, or home loans. It attracted many participants who competed with innovative business ideas and strategic financial planning.

“We advised our customers to create wealth by making loans that positively impact their lives,” said Motsoahae.

Three of the five winners received M20 000 each. One of the winners, Thato Chobokoane expressed her gratitude, noting that the loan and prize came at a crucial time, allowing her to fix her vehicle.

Chobokoane said she found the loan application user-friendly “and the prize came at the right time when I needed to fix my vehicle.”

Another big winner, Taele Paul Lebona indicated that there were some initial hiccups during the application process “but the prize was a welcome bonus having used the SLB for quite some time.”

Motlatsi Sekotlo, who also won M20 000 said he has been a client of the bank dating back to the 90s.

“Their loans proved significant for my business and they have been improving their services and after so many loans I’m thankful,” Sekotlo said.
