The Ministry of Defence, National Security and Environment requests services of either consulting companies or individual consultants for the listed consulting services. The terms of reference (TOR) will be obtained at the Procurement Office, Sixth Floor, Post office building, on the 12th October, 2023. The associated closing date for the submissions of these tenders will be on the 16th of November, 2023 at 10:00 am. TYPE OF CONTRACT                          :Communication and Knowledge Management Consultant     

POST-LEVEL                                       : National Consultant

DUTY STATION                                   : Quthing

INITIAL CONTRACT TERM                  : Project life (3 Years). The first engagement will last for 24 days spread over a year period; renewal will be based on performance.

LANGUAGE OF THE ASSIGNMENT     : English

The Government of Lesotho through the Ministry of Defence, National Security and Environment is implementing UNDP and GEF funded Integrated Watershed Management for Improved Agro-pastoral livelihoods in the Sebapala Sub-catchment Project. Under outcome 4, the project requires consultancy service to develop the project advocacy and communications strategy and Knowledge Management Framework.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Education

Postgraduate degree in Knowledge Management, Communications, Public Relations or related disciplines (e.g. International Relations, Public Affairs, Marketing, Economics, Development Studies).

TYPE OF CONTRACT                          :Grievance Redress Mechanism (GRM)

POST-LEVEL                                       : International/Regional/National

DUTY STATION                                   : Quthing

INITIAL CONTRACT TERM                  : Project life (3 Years). The first engagement will last for 30 days spread over a year period; renewal will be based on performance.

LANGUAGE OF THE ASSIGNMENT     : English

The project requires the service of a consultant who will be responsible for development of a feedback and grievance redress mechanism.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Education

Postgraduate (Masters or PhD) university degree in relevant social sciences or related field with extensive experience in natural resources management.

LANGUAGE OF THE ASSIGNMENT     : English

The Government of Lesotho through the Ministry of Defence, National Security and Environment is implementing UNDP and GEF funded Integrated Watershed Management for Improved Agro-pastoral livelihoods in the Sebapala Sub-catchment Project. The project requires the service of a consultant who will be responsible for updating/developing the project’s M&E Plan and Budget which will both guide monitoring and evaluation at the project level.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Education

Postgraduate degree in Social Sciences, International Development, or related field with a minimum of seven years of professional experience in Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) for international development programmes
